After the bifurcation of Telangana in 2014, people chose their long-term leader K. Chandrashekhar Rao or KCR as the first Chief Minister. Initially, KCR had pledged to steer the state towards development, whereas now he allegedly is busy with prodigal rituals. No proper allocation of Tax-payers money and self-benefitting allegedly has shattered the growth prospect of Telangana. The seeds of Telangana struggle were sworn in 1955 when the recommendation of the state’s Reorganisation Commission to retain Hyderabad as a separate state went unheeded.
If we speak about Telangana Assembly elections results of 2014, KCR won in the favor of Telangana’s sentiments. KCR has the mass appeal pan Telangana and things seem to be gelled with. Interesting facts about Telangana election was the simmering issues like unemployment, housing schemes, irrigation and land acquisition etc. which though the government is doing its best in its capacity, but seems the things are not progressing as per the promises made by TRS. This seems to be the main grouse for people.
Telangana elections shows the opposition Congress is still getting its act together, things might be smooth for TRS, if everything is perfect and status quo maintained, it would be pretty evident that in next 2 years what tougher political situations and issues might crop up and might create hurdles for the government.
Telangana elections 2014, people voted enmasse for the Telangana sentiment and this my face a tougher and stricter challenge in the Telangana Assembly elections results 2019. Focus would widely be on development, job creation, irrigation and all round welfare.
