New Delhi: BJP President Amit Shah has been admitted to AIIMS, New Delhi suffering from Swine Flu. However, his condition is said to be stable by doctors monitoring his health conditions. In a recent health bulletin issued, Doctors from AIIMS said the leader is doing fine and will be discharged from the hospital in a day or two.
The forthcoming Lok Sabha polls are extremely crucial for the Ruling Party for which the party had planned and organized big political rallies ahead of the polls. But a suspense kind of situation seems haundering the party as, the days aren’t proving favorable enough for some of the big and extremely crucial leaders of the party. There are reports doing rounds where few leaders from Bharatiya Janata Party are coping up with several health issues.
BJP President Amit Shah was rushed to hospital late on Wednesday after facing some health crisis and following his medical reports. At around 9.12 pm he was shifted to AIIMS where a team of doctors is attending him. On the other hand, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has flown to US amid rumors of him facing severe health crisis where he is said to be allegedly suffering from Soft Tissue Sarcoma, a kind of cancer. He is on a medical tour since Sunday and will continue the affairs of Finance Ministry probably by not before 25th January.
Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad has also been discharged from the hospital following complains of difficulty in breathing for which he was admitted. In the same way Ex Defence Minister and current Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar is living his most challenging days in terms of his health.
With severe health crisis, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has backed off from fighting upcoming Lok Sabha polls 2019. She has been reportedly on dialysis following the dysfunction of her kidney. One of the core members of the party Swaraj not contesting upcoming General Elections itself is a big jolt to the ruling party. Similarly, Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari also facing a huge health crisis was rushed to hospital following the report of an increase in his blood-sugar level with which he fainted at a public function recently.
As per current reports, the ruling party may not welcome this as BJP General Secretary, Ram Lal has also been admitted to hospital following rise in his body temperature.
In the capacity of BJP president, Shah is Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s most trusted advisor and has been charged with crafting the ruling party’s poll strategy to bring Modi back to power in the upcoming Lok Sabha election. After facing defeats in state Assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan, Modi is facing a tough election and an opposition that is trying to exploit discontent about lack of jobs and low farm prices that have angered farmers.
With ongoing battle with health crisis within the party, many leaders will not be available to campaign for the party in regards with the upcoming General Elections 2019.
