India’s hero Squadron leader Siddharth Vashisht had his last rites performed in Chandigarh. Siddharth (31) was a fourth-generation member from his family who served in the Indian armed forces. He played a great role in saving many lives in the rescue operation during the floods of Kerela.
India’s hero Squadron leader Siddharth Vashisht was cremated by his father Jagdish Vashishth in Chandigarh. He was martyred in a helicopter crash in Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Many thousands of people gathered to pay tribute to India’s braveheart. He was cremated with full honor. His wife Arti is also a Squadron leader in the Indian Air Force. She attended the cremation in Air Force uniform. They have a 2 year old son named Angad.
An Indian Air Force helicopter got crashed a few days ago in Badgam in Jammu and Kashmir. Two pilots and 4 others were martyred along with a local.
Many Indian Air Force officials were present at the site along with BJP’s Chandigarh President Sanjay Tandon and Haryana Minister Naib Saini. Vashishth was given 21 gun salute. Another pilot seated in the helicopter Ninad Mandavgane (33), who hailed from Nashik, was cremated on the bank of Godavari river earlier.
