Bharatiya Janata Party: – BJP is one of the two major political parties in India. It is the country’s largest political party in terms of representation in National Parliament and state assemblies. The party has the dominance of 274/545 seats in Lok Sabha. 58/245 seats in Rajya Sabha.
Indian National Congress: – INC is a broad based political party in India. Under the leadership of Gandhiji Indian National Congress became the basis of principal leadership at the time of Independence Movement. The party has 48/545 seats in Lok Sabha and 54/245 seats in Rajya Sabha.
All India Trinamool Congress: – TMC is the regional political party based in West Bengal. This party is the break way faction of Indian National Congress. Currently the party has 34/545 seats in Lok Sabha and 12/245 seats in Rajya Sabha.
Aam Aadmi Party: – AAP launched on 26 November 2012, is the current ruling party of the National Capital Territory of Delhi. The existence of this political party solely depends on then ideological/political differences between activist Anna Hazare and Arvind Kejriwal. AAP has 46/70 seats in Delhi Legislative Assembly.
All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam: – AIADMK is a political party who has its dominance in the state of Tamil Nadu and in the state of Puducherry. This is also the third largest party in Lok Sabha. With seven times win in Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly, AIADMK makes itself the most successful political outfit in the state’s history. It has 37/545 seats in Lok Sabha.
Communist Party of India: – The foundation day mentioned by CPI is 26 December 1925. The party has 1/545 seats in Lok Sabha and 1/245 seats in Rajya Sabha.
Samajwadi Party: – the political party has had dominance in Uttar Pradesh and describes itself as a Democratic Socialist Party. The party has 7/545 seats in Lok Sabha and 18/245 seats in Rajya Sabha.
