The election commission of India has announced the dates of assembly polls which is going to be held in five states—Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Mizoram. The vote will be casted in one phase in every state but the election will be held in two phases in Chhattisgarh. In Madhya Pradesh the assembly poll is on 28th November. The best BJP leaders are ruling the state for several decades under the rein of chief minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan who came to power in 2005. A direct contest will be witnessed between the political leaders in Madhya Pradesh.

Congress may usurp power in Madhya Pradesh

The famous leaders in Madhya Pradesh might suffer a defeat in the upcoming polls. The popular BJP leaders are holding power for the last 15 years in the state. According to a survey, there will be slight difference between the casted vote shares of two major opponents. The assembly comprises 230 members and congress might win nearly 122 seats. Chief Minister S.S. Chauhan has announced welfare scheme to ensure his victory for the fourth consecutive term. He is determined that opponents cannot dislodge BJP government from power in the coming assembly poll.

Election opinion Poll

A survey insists that congress is much more determined to conduct campaign which can ultimately lead to upswing of the BJP leaders. They have deliberately side-lined the names of corrupted leaders to shun any trouble during their campaigning. Most importantly, the administration is controlled by BJP for last 15 years and congress is more focussed to protect the state from rust of CM’s rule. The Supreme Court allowed reservation in promotion for reserved category employees but famous politicians in Madhya Pradesh have sought legal opinion so this might dent the share of vote for BJP.

Hopeful BJP

BJP President Amit Shah is very confident to ensure win in the upcoming election. He has shown confidence as he believes that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and CM have worked hard for the welfare of Madhya Pradesh, so the vote will be casted definitely in favour of BJP. The party is hoping that poll results will consist of BJP leaders list. Former BJP MP Ram Lakhan Singh has claimed that in Bhind-Gwalior region the party will surely repeat feat after 2013. Even after BSP-Congress alliance they can witness the ray of hope that this formidable force cannot subdue the power of BJP government.

Will the political equation retain in the upcoming election?

In 2013 Madhya Pradesh election, BJP and congress witnessed a significant increase in vote share. The BJP received 44.87% vote and congress recorded 36.37% in its vote share. This year popular leaders in Madhya Pradesh have been jostling to get share of vote and congress leaders are trying to promote themselves as the best alternative to present CM.

The different political scenario in 3 BJP led states—Rajasthan, MP and Chhattisgarh may prove to be an ominous portent to refrain BJP from future politics. Congress president Rahul Gandhi is trying to bring victory with help of young leaders. Election Commissioner said the by-polls results will be published on 11th December and with this the political scenario will be determined.
