Prime Minister Narendra Modi today (March 29) addressed a political rally in Odisha’s Koraput district where he slammed the ruling party in the state, which is BJD. He claimed that both BJD and congress have failed in Odisha as the state is rich in nature but the people are poor, this is because of opposition parties’ poor leadership.
“Odisha is rich in natural resources but people are poor. The situation proves that the Congress and BJD have failed to develop Odisha,” PM said. He also added that the whole country including Odisha witnessed how India placed herself fourth in the list of space superpowers after US, Russia and China, India is now doing Chowkidaari in space too.
“One month has passed and Pakistan is still counting the dead bodies of the terrorists killed in the Balakot airstrike, and they (opposition) are asking proof for the soldier’s bravery, giving a chance to enemies to laugh on the country,” PM said.
PM Modi asked the people, do they want to vote for such people who raise questions on the bravery of Indian scientists and soldiers, those who are insulting Indian Armed forces and making enemies smile.
PM Modi slammed state government, saying, “Odisha government refused to be a part of the Ayushman Bharat Yojna and thus deprived the poor their right for quality healthcare. PM Kisan Yojna is providing financial assistance to the farmers. However, Odisha govt has not provided us the list of the needy farmers. “
While pointing out its achievement, PM Modi said, “To provide employment to the youth and women, Self Help Groups are being empowered. Under MUDRA Yojna, they are being given collateral free loans. We are developing road infrastructure across Odisha and have ensured that there is seamless flow of funds to make sure that even the remotest village gets the good road facility.”
