BJP had a big win in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections because of the prevelant Modi wave but a series of happenings have moved the wave in Modi’s favor once again.
In 2014, Modi led BJP won the general elections due to a wave in his favor but a second Modi wave is expected to sweep the elections in the favor of the Prime Minister. He is likely to come back to power. Let us look at some of the happenings which have moved the wave in Modi’s favor.
Budget 2019: The 2019 union budget was designed to please India’s mighty middle-class, farmers and defense personnel. A large section of India was benefitted from the welfare schemes announced in the budget. Salaried employee was highly favored in the structuring of income slabs.
Loss in Vidhan Sabha elections in 2018: Due to the loss in three states in December 2018, BJP is re-working on its strategy and has become more meek and humble in its approach. The key leaders are working harder than before.
Surgical Strikes: The recent surgical strikes against Pakistan and the scenario created in the nation has turned people in favor of Modi.People strongly feel that nation will grow stronger if the BJP comes back to power again.
Welfare schemes and programmes: The Prime Minister has been working a lot on various welfare schemes. He served the 3rd billionth meal at the Akshayapatra Foundation in Vrindavan.The Kumbh Mela was organized very successfully and schemes like Ayushman Yojna are benefitting the countrymen.
Poor Opposition: Opposition has not been able to come together to form a strong aliance. Rahul Gandhi is mocked at as a leader and mahagathbandhan is bound to fail. In absence of anyone to replace, Modi remains the only choice for the countrymen.
